*Wamzuia kuingia kanisani kuongoza ibada

SAKATA la waumini wa Kanisa la Anglikana Kilimatinde, Wilaya ya Manyoni, mkoani Singida, kumkataa Askofu wa Dayosisi ya Rift Valley, John Lupaa, limechukua sura mpya
baada ya kumzuia kuingia kanisani ili kuongoza ibada.
Askofu Lupaa alifika katika majengo ya kanisa hilo akiwa na waandishi kutoka vyombo mbalimbali vya habari lakini alishindwa kuingia na kuongoza ibada baada ya baadhi ya waumini kusimama milangoni ili kuzuia asiweze kuingia.
“Jamani wale waumini ambao mpo tayarai kuwa pamoja nami, njooni katika chumba cha darasa ili tuendelee na ibada, wale wasiotaka kuja basi waingie kanisani kuendelea na ibada kama kawaida,” Askofu Lupaa aliwasihi waumini hao.
Baadhi ya waumini wanaomkubali, walikwenda katika chumba cha darasa tayari kwa ibada ambayo iliongozwa na Askofu Lupaa na wengine waliingia kanisani.
Waandishi ambao waliongozana na Askofu Lupaa, nao walikataliwa kuingia kanisani na kutakiwa kuondoka eneo hilo kwa ya kununuliwa.
“Tuna taarifa kuwa Askofu Lupaa amewanunua baadhi ya waumini na waandishi ili waje kumsafisha, mkakati huu tumeugundua, hatuwezi kuwaruhusu muingie kanisani, hatuna imani ndio maana mmekuja katika gari moja,” alisema Mzee wa kanisa ambaye hakutaka kutaja jina lake.
Sakata la waumini wa waandishi kutoruhusiwa kuingia kanisani ili kupata kiini cha mgogoro uliopo, lilidumu kwa dakika 15 lakini baada ya kujieleza vizuri, waliruhusiwa kuingia kanisani ili kushiriki ibada.
Akizungumzia sakata la kuzuiwa kwake, Askofu Lupaa hakufurahishwa na kitendo hicho kwa madai kuwa, kimelenga kuvunja sheria za nchi.
“Nashangaa kuona mwenye mali anazuiwa kuingia katika majengo yake, mimi ndiye mwenye mali kwa niaba ya Maaskofu wengine nimezuiliwa kuingia kanisani nisali hadi nikalazimika kuingia darasani ili siku isinipite,” alisema.
Aliwataka waumini ambao wanamuunga mkono, kufanya maombi pamoja na kupuuza madai yanayotolewa dhidi yake na baadhi ya waumini wa kanisa hilo.
Askofu Lupaa alitumia fursa hiyo kuwataka waumini wote wa kanisa hilo, kutochukua sheria mkononi badala yake wajenge utamaduni wa kutumia demokrasia wanapodai haki.
kwa nini akataliwe? jamani mwandishi hujatutendea haki wengine ambao ndo leo kwanza tunapata kusoma 'story' ya askofu unayejaribu kumwelezea!! Kuna nini? hebu jaribu kuwa mwandishi professional! Hakuna linaloeleweka hapa!!
ReplyDeleteWaandishi wahabari ndio maana sikuhizi mnatuhumiwa kupokea rushwa. Kumbukeni ya Kubenea. Huyo askofu si mchungaji hata kidogo. Ni dictor mkubwa. Ni mtu wa visasi. Ninyi waandishi mnajua kwamba si utamaduni wa kiafrica kumsema mtu aliyekufa hata kama ulikuwa unamchukia kiasi gani! Leo hii huyo askofu kila anapohubiri anamsema askofu Mohammed aliyefariki. Na wote wakristo wa Rift Valley wanajua ni Askofu Mohammed ndiye aliye jenga kila kitu kilichopo leo kwenye diocese ile. Yeye anakula kila kitu kilichoashwa. Akiulizwa anasema aliachiwa madeni na Mohammed wakati si kweli. Pia anawafukuzwa watu wote waliofanya kazi na Mohammed. Waandishi muwa wakweli na muwe mnafanya analysis kabla ya kuandika. Ili kuokoa ufisa ulioko Tanzania kila mahali hata kwenye mashirika ya dini. Huyu askofu ni mshirikina mkubwa hafai. Fanyeni utafiti ili muandike ukweli. Haelewi kazi ya dini inavyotakiwa ifanywe. Mwandishi kama mwenzengu hapo juu alivyouliza inapasa ufanye utafiti kwanini anakataliwa? Yeye anasema kanisa ni mali yake nani alisema kanisa ni mali yake? Kwani alijenga yeye? Yeye kaingia kanisani juzi tu kalikuta kanisa Anglican lipo! halafu leo anasema kanisa ni mali yake. Kanisa si mali yake ni mali ya Kristo. Ni la waanglican waumini hao hawajahama dhehebu ila hawamtaki yeye binafsi. Sio Anglican. Wangelikuwa wanahama ANglican hapo sawa. Ila hawapendi uongozi wake. Hawampendi yeye kwa tabia yake. Mkatili, Mwizi, mshirikina na mzinzi hawezi kuwa na haiba ya kuongoza kanisa la Mungu. Hata maaskofu wenzake wamteteee atashindwa tu. Maana waumini ndio hawamtaki.
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame that a true Godly person would clean up himself by using someone that has moved on to his eternal life and cannot defend himself! It is flat out wrong no matter how someone may try to justify it.
ReplyDeleteIf in deed Bishop Mohamed abused his Bishopric position in any way or left some debts in the Diocese of Rift Valley, there was a five years window before +Mohamed was called by His creator. How come Bishop Lupaa never asked Bishop Mohamed when he was alive all those years? He was busy badmouthing the humble Mohamed who was never even given an opportunity to preach his sheep in the Cathedral that he build by the help of the Holy Spirit. Why would Lupaa be so ungrateful of his predecessor’s outstanding work which is appreciated by so many people around the world not for his Glory, but for God's glory! Does Bishop Lupaa even know where each and every dime that built the Cathedral came from? The man prayed day and night until he would sweat on his knees seeking God’s guidance in everything that he did, why would someone demonize him simply because they have chosen to do God’s work by using human wisdom?
Saul the first king of Israel lost his fellowship with God who anointed him king of Israel and went to seek counsel with the spirit medium of Endor (1 Samuel 28:3-20) and we all know the end results. Bishop Lupaa, if you have in deed been anointed for God’s work, you better seek God to guide your steps and not to consult the medium of our days.
Let Bishop Mohamed’ soul rest in peace and you ask God to give you peace as you work in His field because none of us owns anything in this world, everything belongs to God even our fancy homes and cars; he has just borrowed us to take care of and we ought to be good stewards.
I could go with this forever but with all due respect, Bishop Lupaa needed a host of angels and more importantly the Holy Spirit to come with him to Kilimatinde and not a host of news reporters. Also, true journalists do fact-check before they are swayed with the wind!
Please give the man justice by letting him rest in peace!
